The World’s Most Annoying Font Just Went Old-School

When Comic Sans was first released by Microsoft in 1994, its makers could never have anticipated the amount of hate the font would receive. Designed to imitate the writing style of some comic books, the font carries a casual, relaxed and playful feel. Despite this, in the years since its release it began to seep into ever broader categories of work. Eventually, it  began to be incorporated into serious publications, and the font has (to great scandal) even been included in a newspaper.

Now however, the font is going old school. Built by maker Jesse England, the Sincerity Machine is the first ever typewriter to write in the much-hated Comic Sans font. Check it out in this interesting video below:
