As If The Apple Watch Could Get Any More Ridiculous

and yet, apparently, it can

The only thing more idiotic than a $17,000 18-karat gold Apple Watch Edition, is a $114,995 diamond-studded Lux Watch Omni, an 18-karat gold customized version of the Apple Watch.

The only thing more idiotic than a $17,000 18-karat gold Apple Watch Edition, is a $114,995 diamond-studded Lux Watch Omni, an 18-karat gold customized version of the Apple Watch.

The company that customized these watches, Brikk, offers them in both 38mm and 42mm sizes, and sells a pink gold and platinum version for the outrageously expensive watch.

But never fear. For those of you that are more budget-conscious, Brikk is also offering the Lux Watch Deluxe, which will only set you back $49,995. Similar to the more expensive version, it is also covered in yellow gold, pink gold, or platinum, and it features a diamond-studded Digital Crown watch face and band.

Brikk is customizing the Apple Watch, with the stainless steel case and the Link Bracelet band, rather than the Apple Watch Edition. This means that the $1,000 factory price (from Apple) will become the most expensive smartwatch on the planet.

This is not for the faint of heart. Unfortunately there is no rental policy, and even if you want to pre-order the device, you have to shell out an immediate $10,000 for the Lux Watch Omni. The delivery will come four to six weeks after the Apple Watch hits the shelves.

While I think most people will agree with me in believing this is the stupidest thing they have seen in a long time, I somehow also believe that we will see the Lux Watch on fashion runways or Donald Trump’s wrist in no time.
