These handsets hardly they get the credit they deserve. They all pack some serious specs, but come from lesser-known competitors.


6. Motorola Moto X 2014 

This device is from 2014, but that won’t slow it down. With a 5.2-inch, 1080 x 1920 pixel screen (which reads a 424 pixels per inch density), it has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. Water resistant, it also packs a 13 megapixel back shooter and a 2 megapixel front shooter. On deck is a quality quad-core Snapdragon 801 processor that speeds along at 2.5Ghz. It runs Android 4.4 out of the box. 

  

5. ASUS ZenFone 2

Released January 2015, the 5.5-inch screen has the same amount of pixels, so a reduced pixel density of 403 ppi. This bad boy has 2GB of RAM, 16GB of storage, and is expandable by microSD. It runs a quad-core Intel Atom chip that hits 2.3Ghz.Also on deck is a 13 megapixel rear camera, and a 5 megapixel front camera. It runs Android 5.0 Lollipop.

Announced in May, this bad boy is the cool new kid on the block. 5.2-inch screen with 424 ppi, alongside 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage, it will have THE Snapdragon 810 processor that speeds along at 1.5GHz. Outfitted with a 16 megapixel rear camera and 8 megapixel selfie camera, it has Android 5.0 out of the box.
