Windows 10 is finally coming! The official release date has been marked down on July 29. That’s less than two months away!

It was announced earlier that the Windows 10 upgrade would be free to Windows 7 and Windows 8.1 users. It won’t remain like that forever as Microsoft is giving us a one-year period to download the update free of charge.

Microsoft plans to use Windows 10 as the glue gun between its many different products. All the way from mobile phones to tablets to the Xbox One will be able to make use of the new Microsoft OS.

With the new installment of Windows comes with it a slew of new features. One of the most talked about new feature would that be of Cortana. Window’s digital assistant looks to give Apple’s Siri a run for her (or his) money.  Another feature to look forward to will be Continuum. This will let users connect their mobiles to their personal computers via a mini HDMI. Generally, Microsoft is pushing for full integration to all of your devices even those run by Android and iOS.

You will be able to ‘reserve’ your update in your Windows system tray starting today.
