On October 21, Meizu is having a pretty hyped press event, where it is likely to unveil the latest Blue Charm handsets. The Blue Charm lineup is also known as the Meizu m-series outside of China, and features affordable devices that pack on the specs.
The all new generation Blue Charm is rumored to be Blue Charm Metal, or just Meizu Metal. The device was leaked last week through the photos below, and OppoMart apparently also listed on the specifications online.
The Meizu Metal will feature a 5.5-inch display (of course) with 1,080 x 1,920 resolution, or full HD. It boasts the incredibly powerful octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor that has been clocked at 2Ghz, along with a PowerVR GPU to ensure lightning fast multimedia, and 3GB of RAM. The device has an option between 16 or 32GB of internal storage.
The primary camera has 13 megapixels accompanied by a front camera of 5 megapixels.
It offers LTE connectivity, and an acceptable battery of 3,050 mAh.
It will run Android 5.1 Lollipop, with Flyme launcher on top.
Obviously, it will come dressed in a full sexy metal unibody. It’s no Meizu Pro 5 (the company’s 2015 flagship) but honestly, this is a whole lot more than just a mid-ranger. It will come in 5 different colors: White, Grey, Pink, Blue and Gold.
The announced price is only $249, which is incredibly reasonable for these specs.
