Like every Chinese flagship that creates a stir, the LeTv Le 1s comes with an attractive price tag, and an even more attractive slim all-metal unibody that makes me purr.

This week, Chinese manufacturer LeTV officially announced their fourth smartphone in the Le lineup, the LeTv Le 1s.

Like every Chinese flagship that creates a stir, the LeTv Le 1s comes with an attractive price tag, and an even more attractive slim all-metal unibody that makes me purr.

Only 7.5mm thick, it has an incredibly slim bezel, sexy curves, and a slim waistline, weighing only 169 grams.

But if you want brains and not just beauty, don’t worry. Under the hood this baby is packing the incredibly powerful octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 chipset (that rivals Snapdragon’s 810) that has been clocked at a very impressive 2.2Ghz.

But if you want brains and not just beauty, don’t worry. Under the hood this baby is packing the incredibly powerful octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 chipset (that rivals Snapdragon’s 810) that has been clocked at a very impressive 2.2Ghz. It’s been paired with 3GB of RAM and internal storage of 32GB that is sadly not expandable.

It’s a looker, alright. It has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display, because what flagship these days is any smaller? It has a 1,080 x 1,920 full HD pixel resolution. It’s peak brightness is 500 nits, which is very acceptable.

It runs Android 5.1, which is a bit dull, but it also has the company’s own homegrown EUI skin on top to keep things spicy.

It has a fingerprint sensor on the back, along with a very capable 13 megapixel ISOCELL camera and LED flash. Around the front is a 5 megapixel selfie snapper that boasts 85-degree wide angles.

It will be hitting shelves for the mere (and amazing) price of $173 on November 3.

You know this company is a winner as well, because the value price is actually $206 (meaning the materials cost that much) so the company is actually making a loss on the phone. Beauty, brains, and compassion. Be still, my heart.
