Snapchat has all the right to be sassy as they now reach 6 billion video views per day, a high number considering they operate mainly as an app on phones. They trail behind Facebook who garners 8 billion views for its videos daily according to Financial Times.
In 2013, Facebook tried to buy off Snapchat for $3 billion which the latter snubbed, and today they're probably more than happy that they did. Today, video content advertising is one of the main lifeblood of social media companies and it's definitely making Snapchat alive and kicking. With increased advertisers and media partnerships for the photo messenger app, they are reported earlier this year to at least earn up to $19 billion out of this alone.
