Build is great. My ATH-M50xBT have suffered much abuse at my hands and continue to work GREAT. With the addition of aftermarket oversized ear pads these headphones are able to accommodate my plus size ears. My only real complaint about these headphones is the sound. They are flat. But they are advertised as studio headphones and flat is what they're supposed to be. They don't have ANC but the noise isolation is sufficient for tuning out my wife.
