X264 HD result (pass 1)

What is x264 HD?

x264 HD is a benchmark that measures CPU performance by comparing how fast the system can encode a 1080p video into the HD x264 video format.

The evaluation of several processors is possible due to the use of the same video conversion software; results are currently shown for two versions of the benchmarking software: x264 HD 4.0 and 5.0.1. Moreover, two performance results are usually available for each version: pass 1 and pass 2. Each pass represents a different encoding option – in this case, pass 1 offers faster encoding.
