An All New LG G4 Variant Was Leaked!

The newest model, the S, will apparently be a low price alternative the other more expensive handsets in the bunch. 

A brand new rumor found its way onto the internet today. A whole new set of leaked images claim an entirely new variant of the LG G4, the LG G4 S, is currently in production.

The images first appeared on a Russian website, and since then, rumors and specifications have also appeared. But the initial images seem to suggest that the LG G4 S will be pretty similar to the original G4.

Apparently, the newest variant will also boast a 5.2-inch screen, with a manageable 1080 pixel display. It will be powered by an unknown octa-core CPU that will speed along at 1.5Ghz. As for the camera, we’re looking at 8 megapixels with laser autofocus. No word on the front snapper.

The selling point is pretty obvious: flagship design, excellent specs, bargain price.

If these rumors are true, it means that there is an ever-growing list of G4 variants that include a larger G4 with a stylus, and a compact G4c.

Honestly, it seems a bit unlikely, in my opinion. You can only have so many different variants of one model before you begin to confuse your customer base. It also generally hurts your sales on the flagship the following year.

Still, the rumors insist the LG G4 S will go on sale as early as late August. The selling point is pretty obvious: flagship design, excellent specs, bargain price. We don’t know the price just yet, but hopefully it will be reasonable.
