The biggest and best improvement has been the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC.
Released at the LG Press Conference, the LG G Flex 2 has been a major hit this week in the press and at CES 2015. The curvaceous phone has since seemingly inspired even Apple to patent their own bendable smartphone.
The biggest and best improvement has been the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC. It’s faster, and supposedly the first official phone with the new Qualcomm system. This will make a massive improvement in battery life, which is lucky, because they have downsized from a 3,500 mAh battery to a smaller 3,000 mAh Li-Polymer, but we have complete confidence it will do the job. The smaller battery also chargers 50% faster, in under 40 minutes. It has 64-bit Octacore CPU, that speeds along at 2.0GHz, and has 2GB of RAM, and is obviously sporting Android 5.0 Lollipop. Additionally, it has a fantastic new display size of 5.5-inches, which is much more manageable than the previously bulky 6-inches. It has a high resolution P-OLED touchscreen with 1080 pixels, from a former 750 pixels that just wasn’t cutting it. It has full HD, with a pixel count of a whopping 403 pixels per inch.
Apparently at CES 2015, it was even sat on, and survived.
Obviously, its major selling point is durability. This smartphone can bend and snap in any which way, and its flexibility gives the owner more flexibility. Apparently at CES 2015, it was even sat on, and survived. The design matches the cool new curved 4K TVs that also hit the spotlight this week. The design is said to match the contour of the eyes.
The camera has 13 megapixels and the front-facing camera has 2.1 megapixels, both of which focus well.
It will likely hit the US in the Spring, but it will debut in Korea later in January.
