The narrative will unfold through both Master Chief and Spartan Jameson Locke, the man who has been assigned to hunt him down.
One year ago, during E3 2014 we got our first sneak peek at Halo 5: Guardians and all we knew was that Master Chief went AWOL for some reason.
But during the demo on stage at E3 2015, Microsoft and 343 studios gave us a much better storyline: the narrative will unfold through both Master Chief and Spartan Jameson Locke, the man who has been assigned to hunt him down. In the footage, we saw four players blast their way through a sci-fi environment. The latest in the Halo franchise has focused on cinematography, allowing characters to fall off ledges, surprise flash attacks, and being caught by your adversary without the subtle cut-screen.
Master Chief will be running around to Team Blue, while Locke will have his own Spartans called Team Osiris. For those wanting to return with three of their favorites, no worries, because there is seamless co-op gameplay, and Prometheans will apparently be making a return as well.
343 Studios announced that Halo 5 will include a 24 multiplayer mode called Warzone, where gamers will face off against AI rivals
343 Studios announced that Halo 5 will include a 24 multiplayer mode called Warzone, (so big it's almost like Battlefield!) where gamers will face off against AI rivals, using a variety of air and land craft to destroy each other.
An additional new bonus is that the maps will now be four times larger than the maps in Halo 4.
Halo 5: Guardians will be released on October 27 for Xbox One and will begin pre-orders soon.
