We’re at the 4th month of the year and we’re sure not all your new year's resolutions have been accomplished yet. It’s probably one particular goal you have been setting every year but you can’t seem to get on to it because of your busy schedule. Maybe it’s also because you lack motivation? Or maybe you’re just not setting your priorities right? Luckily, your best friend Google always has the right answers, and the solution is Goals.
Yes, we mean Goals. Google has found the perfect way to finally organize your personal goal with your daily schedule that fits your lifestyle. Google calendar has recently introduced what is literally a life-changing feature called Goals. Finally, the things you promised yourself you would do now can be done! No buts, no ifs and no more excuses. Goals will do all the scheduling for you, and all you have to do is follow it. Now, those goals you made 4 years ago are going to be achieved!
You might think you won’t even have time to set your schedules for the app, but Goals is really easy to set up. According to Google, to set a goal (like “Work out more”), simply answer a few questions (like “How often?” and “Best time?”), and you’re all set. From there, Calendar will look at your schedule and find the best windows to pencil in time for that goal. Easy right?
Now, there might come a time when work gets on the way or a friend from out of town suddenly comes to visit. Before you get too discouraged, as we mentioned, Goals does everything for you. It automatically reschedules your goal when you add another event to your calendar. And if your schedule is just too hectic on that day, then you can defer a goal at anytime, and Goals will save it for later. There’s just no getting out of it, pal!
You know it’s time for a personal change and Goals will walk you through it! As Google Calendar turns 10 today, it has launched this feature to refresh the app and to refresh you. It’s time you look at Google Calendar in a different way. It's not only for organizing your schedules and must-dos, it’s also a tool to redefine yourself and try out new things you thought you never could do!
