Undoubtedly the most exciting thing we reported on from Samsung’s IFA event in Berlin yesterday was the Galaxy Note Edge. And now we have the pictures to show you the new phone in all its high-res glory.
The Galaxy Note Edge is the most high-end phone in Samsung’s new line-up, and could very well boost the Note line into true Apple competition territory. It has similar specs to the Note 4 - similar metallic design, 5.6 inch display, Android 4.4 (KitKat) processor, same 16-megapixel camera, heart rate monitor, memory, multi-window feature etc. But the true magic lies in the curved part of the screen, the ‘edge’.
We’re speculating the edge will be used for notifications or as a quick launch taskbar - and it will save a lot on battery by not using the main 2560 x 1440 display. The Edge will be released in limited markets soon. Until then, you can check out the pictures below.
