Song Breaks Vevo Records With 27M Views In A Day

Well known for crooning heartbreaking ballads, Adele returned to the airwaves with a vengeance after her 3-year hiatus as she broke records in Vevo by recording 27 million views during its first 24 hours for her song "Hello". Aside from that, Billboard also stated that the song has been downloaded 1.1 million times after its first week.

This video, which was directed by French Canadian filmmaker Xavier Dolan, broke Taylor Swift's Bad Blood video which garnered 20.1 views on its first day. It is also the second fastest video to reach 1 million views on YouTube. 

"Hello" also reached 61.6 million streams on its first week taken from both Spotify and YouTube clicks. With the upcoming album entitled 25 set to be released on November 20th, we are to expect more records (and hearts) breaking over Adele's new songs.
