For all you lazy buggers who’d rather not stand up and just play games on your PC and laptop rather than walking all the way to the living room or where ever.
Streaming just got a whole lot better. Thanks to the Windows 10 Xbox app, you can now stream Xbox One games on your Windows 10 PC or tablet. For all you lazy buggers who’d rather not stand up and just play games on your PC and laptop rather than walking all the way to the living room or where ever.
It isn’t terribly complicated since you just have to power up the app. Then hook it up to the internet, add your console, then load a game that you have. Easy breezy right?
Microsoft isn’t stopping there as they also want it to work the other way around. Say what now? You’ll be able to play PC games on your Xbox One. Given that the console has much better hardware than your average PC this could also be a good thing.
Microsoft’s head of Xbox, Phil Spencer, said that they are well on their way on making this a reality. Windows gaming and Microsoft are looking to build better rapport and connectivity in the long run. That should definitely be a good thing.
Time to get better internet connections there as you wouldn’t want to suddenly start buffering while in a boss fight or something. Good job, Microsoft!
