With a 5.2-inch display and 1080 pixel resolution (424 ppi), this handset is a solid mid-ranger. It has a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chip, with 2GB of RAM and either 16GB or 32GB of storage. It’s showcasing Google’s brand new Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and it has a 12.3 megapixel primary camera and a 5 megapixel front camera.
3. Huawei Nexus 6P
The most premium Nexus device ever, it’s covered in a full metal jacket. It has a 5.7-inch display and sports QHD resolution or 1,440 x 2,560 pixels. It has an octa-core Snapdragon 810, and 3GB of RAM as well as three different internal storage sizes. It has an excellent 12 megapixel camera that supports 4K video and does exceptionally well in low light, and an 8 megapixel selfie shooter.
4. Huawei Honor 5X Play
Comfortably mid-range, this device has a 5-inch HD display or 720 x 1,280. Powered by MediaTek’s quad-core CPU, it has 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. It runs Android 5.1, and packs a massive 4,000 mAh battery. It also a 13 megapixel primary camera and 5 megapixels on the front. Apparently it will cost $158.
5. Gionee Elife E8
With a 6-inch screen and 2K display (1,440 x 2,560 pixels or 490 ppi), this handset is very impressive. It runs an octa-core MediaTek Helio X10 processor with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of internal. It also packs one of the highest resolution cameras on an Android phone, with a 24 megapixel primary snapper that can shoot 4K video, and 8 megapixels on the front. It comes with a fingerprint scanner and other fancy stuff.
6. Microsoft Lumia 950
It has a 5.2-inch screen and QHD resolution or 1,440 x 2,560 (564 ppi). It has a hexa-core Snapdragon 808 chip, with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal. Obviously running Windows 10 out of the box, it has a crazy amazing 20 megapixel primary camera and a 5 megapixel selfie snapper. It also has an Iris scanner.
7. Microsoft Lumia 950 XL
With 5.7-inches and QHD display or 1,440 x 2,560 (518 ppi) this is the real flagship. It offers Windows 10 out of the box, and a octa-core Snapdragon 810, alongside 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. It also boasts the 20 megapixel camera and 5 megapixel front camera.
8. Microsoft Lumia 550
The tiniest on the list, it has a 4.7-inch screen with a 720 x 1,280 pixel resolution. It offers a quad-core Snapdragon 210 processor alongside 1GB of RAM and 8GB of internal storage. It runs Windows 10 out of the box. It has 5 megapixels on the rear camera and 2 megapixels on the front. It’s currently only offering 2100 mAh, but it’s also only $139.
9. HTC One E9
It has a 5.5-inch screen with 720 pixel resolution (267 ppi), but it runs an octa-core MediaTek chipset with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It runs Android 5.0, and it has a 13 megapixel primary camera alongside 4 megapixels of UltraPixel technology on the selfie snapper. Currently only in India, it’s going for $325.
10. ZTE Axon Mini
It has 5.2-inches which is pretty large for a mini, and 1080 pixel resolution (424 ppi). With a Snapdragon 616 chip, and 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal, it runs Android 5.1 out of the box. It has a dual camera, with one 13 megapixel sensor and one 2 megapixel lens, alongside the 8 megapixels on the front. Currently on sale in China, apparently it will slowly make its way across the globe.
11. InFocus M812
The brand is calling it their flagship, with a 5.5-inch display and 1080 pixel resolution (401 ppi), it’s encased entirely in aluminum. It has a quad-core Snapdragon 801 chipset with 3GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It runs Android 5.0, and has a 16 megapixel primary camera alongside 8 megapixels on the front. It has 2900 mAh and the current asking price in $300, but currently only available in India.
