It's summer, it's hot, and it's quite rightly time to hit the beach. But if you have pale Irish skin like me, you know the perils of staying out in the sun too long.
That's why I'm so grateful to the person who came up with the app that tells you how long you should stay outside before the inevitable BURN.
You tell The Wolfram Sun Exposure Reference App your skin type, location, time, and the amount of sun protection factor (SPF) you might be using and it calculates how long your skin can be exposed to the sun without burning. Genius.
You can also get a UV forecast for your current location, and advice on what to do. The app will also tell you sunrise and sunset time, wherethe sun currently is in the sky, and weather forecast.
The app will pick up the requisite details via a 2G, 3G, 4G, or Wi-Fi connection. Now you can finally relax.
