Will Apple make drones?
The Future Is In The Sky

Lately drones are everyone. Major companies like Amazon, Google and Facebook have been developing technology or patents for sky. Although there has been no confirmation that Apple is researching their own, there has been speculation anyway.

German designer Eric Huisman made his own mock drone called the Apple Quadcopter, which has a very Apple, minimalistic black and white design.

From a series of photos from his website, that have been designed to appear as the traditional promotional and marketing images, Apple’s iconic logo sits squarely in the middle of a slightly curved drone. The curve, Husiman says, supports the multiple built-in cameras.

Like a typical quadcopter, the Apple drone has four rotors and four cameras that shoot still and panoramic shots of up to 100 megapixels. The concept includes 4K video capacity and built-in image stabilization to ensure sharp, crisp images. It would also allow for live streaming in real time from sites like YouTube.

Perhaps its not only an idea. Amazon was recently approved by the FAA to begin their testing for Amazon Prime Air, a service that would deliver products to customers in their homes or businesses in 30 minutes. Google is also investing in drones, creating solar-powered drones that would bring web connectivity to the 4 billion people without Internet access. Facebook jumped on the trend as well, currently building both lasers and drones to reach out the remaining global population.
