Huawei has finally revealed in Berlin's IFA their next flagship, the Mate S. This new flagship smartphone has a lot to offer, especially when they've capitalized on its ergonomic design and innovative technology.
According to Richard Yu, CEO of Huawei Consumer BG, “The Huawei Mate S is based on insights we gathered about human interaction – most notably that touch is a natural action we take to understand and interact with our world. The Huawei Mate S redefines how we incorporate touch technology into our smartphones, taking a revolutionary approach to touch screen control and ushering in a new era for human-machine interaction."
Indeed, almost everything about the Mate S is just so cool. It has a 5.5-in 1080p screen with 2.5D 4th gen Gorilla glass display. Aside from that, its sleek, stylish diamond cut makes users have a more comfortable time holding their unit.
What's great about the Mate S is their Force Touch feature! They've added several tweaks to make fingertouch sensory easy to use. Fingerprint recognition has doubled in speed and performance. Now, even sweaty or wet hands won't drag you down when you tinker with this flagship. Aside from this, they've added directional swipes that lead to specific actions that your phone will do. For example, when you horizontally swipe your screen, you'll be able to readily access and navigate through your pictures; while the vertical swipe allows you to see important notifications.
It also features a Knuckle Sense 2.0, which means that consumers can drag down a page to do a long screen capture. Another awesome thing about the Mate S is that you can "draw" letters on your screen and it will give you access to certain apps (like "M" for music, "C for camera, and such).
The force touch is wonderful. Other stuff that you can see on this Mate is a 13 MP rear cam, and 8 MP front cam. It can charge twice as fast as the standard iPhone 6+. That's pretty fast!
It comes in 4 different variants: Coral Pink, Mystique Champagne, Titanium, and Prestige Gold. It will retail at 649 euros for the Mate S's standard version, and 699 for it's premium one. Indeed, Huawei's given as a sensational flagship.
