Phablets, you either love them or you hate them. These devices that try to strike the fine balance between the tablet and the phone come in bunches. What are some of the best phablets the current market has to offer? To keep it fair I’m keeping it to just one device per manufacturer.

1. Samsung Galaxy Note 4

The Korean manufacturer’s flagship phablet is first up on the list. The 5.7 sized Note 4 is the best in class for Samsung’s line. The 16-megapixel camera and the 2k OLED screen encased in the sleek metal casing is a beauty inside and out. The ultra quick Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor gives this baby its punch. It also comes with an S Style Pen stylus that complements everything the device has to offer.

2. Google Nexus 6

This is Google’s first entry into the phablet business and it packs a sure punch. Boasting one of the bigger screens at 6 inches, this one’s a definite keeper. Under the hood is a top of the line quad-core processor, 3GB ram, and 64GB of memory. The 13MP camera is also nothing to scoff at.

3. Apple iPhone 6 Plus

Another first timer in the market, the iPhone 6 Plus is surprisingly Apple’s first foray into phablets. The 5.5 inch screen features full HD capabilities. The metallic body has well-rounded edges to give it a good ergonomic feel despite the size. The variants can come up to 128GB memory and everyone of them comes with an 8MP snapper. Apple’s design is again spot on as the iPhone 6 Plus is one of the better looking phablets on the market.

4. OnePlus One

Why don’t they just call this the Two to keep it simple? Kidding aside, this just might be the One to give Samsung and Apple a run for their money. Packing impressive features for a much lower price point, the One is a solid contender. It comes with a 5.5 inch, HD display, good battery life, and up to 64GB of storage. It even comes with its own custom Android OS called the OxygenOS.

5. LG G3

Yet another phone from manufacturers based in Korea is the LG G3. LG is known for bringing large screen devices in small packages and the G3 is no exception. The G3 is one of the most compact phablets currently available in the market. It also brings with it respectable specs for a very fair price. The Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor, 2GB RAM, and 13MP camera is all very impressive in its own right.
