Super small (literally pocket sized), the Cube+ measures as a teeny, perfect 1.4-inches (35mm) square.

Around this time last year, Polaroid debuted their tiny, adorable pocket camera called the Cube. This week at CE Week 2015, Polaroid showcased the sequel - the Cube+.

Super small (literally pocket sized), the Cube+ measures as a teeny, perfect 1.4-inches (35mm) square.

While it’s small, it has all the outfits to make it a legitimate camera. It has a sensor, a lens and a shutter button - which basically covers all your go-to necessities for a digital camera, except being able to instantly review your images on a screen.

Nonetheless, the Cube+ has WiFI connectivity that can hook up to an Android or iOS device. Even better, there is a new Cube+ app that lets you use your handset as a viewfinder to compose shots and change the settings on the Cube+, so your images can come out different instantly.

Not only can it connect to WiFi, but it also comes with the same magnetic base that will allow the Cube+ to be attached to any metal surface. That means that it can attach to your bicycle handlebars, your helmet, your skates, etc.

Obviously, once connected to the interweb, the Cube+ can transfer video and photos to the user’s handset for editing, saving, sharing and printing.

Fully HD, the new Cube posts a higher-fidelity 8 megapixel sensor, whereas the original Cube was limited to only 6 megapixels. Even the sensor got an upgrade with electronic image stabilization, which means it has better low-light capacity and action shot capacity.

It still has the same 1080 pixel resolution video footage as the original, though.

Honestly, though, it’s still pretty neat, and comes with the same magnetic base that will allow the Cube+ to be attached to any metal surface. That means that it can attach to your bicycle handlebars, your helmet, your skates, etc.

With a simple one-button design, it has a rubberized exterior wrapped in a pretty, bright Polaroid color that ensures durability.

Speaking of colors, along with the original blue, black and red, the new Cube+ will be available in hot pink and glow-in-the-dark green.

Apparently it will roll out this August, and will come at a pricey $149, especially in comparison to the original Polaroid Cube that is currently priced at $99.
