The official launch date of Apple's upcoming iPhone 6 model has still not been announced, but Walmart's new dramatic price cut of the iPhone 5C and 5S is surely going to add to increasing speculation that the iPhone 6 is going to launch very soon.
Walmart has reduced the iPhone 5S (16GB) from $99 to $79, and the iPhone 5C (16GB) from $29 to just 97 cents. The offer is only available in stores, not online, and requires you to purchase a two-year contract with AT&T, U.S. Cellular, Sprint or Verizon.
We've seen shops cut the price of their existing iPhone model just before a new one is released. Pundits have their money on September 9, 2014 as the release date becasue Apple has an event on that day.
