The Swedish company Koenigsegg has been making some of fastest and most technologically advanced cars that we have ever seen.
The Koenigsegg One:1, is no different. In the video, the test driver accelerates the car from 0 to 211 mph and then back down to 0 again, and only puts his hands on the wheel when necessary.
Not only it is crazy, but actually - the driver broke a new record, and although it’s technically unofficial, we have a good feeling that someone, this car will manage to claim the official world record title of fastest acceleration to 300 km/h (186 mph).
The Koenigsegg was named due to its insane weight ratio of 1360 horsepower for all 1360 kilograms (2998 lbs) the machine weighs - which makes this car incredibly light, and also, incredibly powerful.
Due to it’s high speeds, high-speed stability is an obvious necessity. The One:1 manages its stability with Triplex Suspension, which apparently adds a third shock absorber to the rear suspension in the car, which means the car can accelerate and break with hands off the wheel.
So, after this, you’ll probably want one of these bad boys. But sorry to be the bearer of bad news, Koenigsegg has only made six, and they’re all already sold out.
