Battery power, or battery capacity, represents the amount of electrical energy that a battery can store. More battery power can be an indication of longer battery life.
It supports a wireless charging standard such as Qi. To charge the device, you simply put it down on a compatible charging pad.
Fast charging technologies, like Qualcomm’s Quick Charge or MediaTek’s Pump Express, are used to reduce the time it takes to charge a device. For example, with Quick Charge 3.0, the battery can be charged to 50% in just 30 minutes.
Charging speeds are expressed in watts (W), a measure of electrical power. A higher wattage results in a faster charging speed. In order to achieve the advertised charging speed, it is important to use a compatible charger.

The battery is removable and can be replaced by the user if broken.
The ultra power-saving mode, also called low power mode, is an effective way to extend the battery life of the device. Usually, it involves limiting screen brightness and contrast, disabling location services, restricting connectivity, and turning off nonessential apps.

This device has been AMAZING coming from a 2018 flagship. I had the LG V40 before this phone and I have to say that this phone absolutely DESTROYS the V40. The 120hz refresh rate is buttery smooth, the performance in games is flawless and emulators run like a dream. I haven't found a single thing this phone doesn't do well. I work 12 hour shifts and with medium heavy usage I can easily make it to the end of work with 25-30% left. On heavy use days I might have to charge it once and then I can make it through until the end with plenty of battery to spare. Of course, not everything is sunshine and rainbows here. 3.5mm headphone jacks are something I really miss, and this phone doesn't remedy that. That said, bluetooth is getting to be so good it's hard to complain too much. Bixby is my biggest annoyance. I will never understand Samsung's decision to make holding the power button, the Bixby shortcut. To turn off the phone, you hold power and volume down. Those two could easily have been swapped and I could just avoid Bixby unless I WANT it.

This phone is great, the camera is able to take great pictures in low light and the 45W fast charger is super useful in school when I need to quickly get around 30% battery. The high screen brightness is also amazing because of it being 1750 nits so I can see perfectly well. Another factor making this phone great is the battery has allowed me to get throughout a whole day and if I don't need to ruin the battery by charging it overnight because I can just use the fast charging in the morning. The chip inside the phone is good for gaming but I haven't tried it in any extremely demanding games and I have seen it is bad for battery health and may overheat.
