I owns both headphones. MY MDR7506 is a used one, YR 1991, 30 years old and still going strong. MDR7506 is a lot better soundwise. The bass is more powerful and cleaner. MDR7506 shines when it comes to treble. It does not have noise cancellation but I am ok with it. There are a few good points with WHH910N. It is wireless, tactile, lighter and lasts very long on one full charge. I use the WHH910N mainly for watching TV, but as far as music is concerned, I would prefer MDR7506 especially when I am working on the laptop / Desktop. My opinion is that the MDR7506 is the winner when it comes to sound.

After nearly eight years

I have been using them for nearly eight years, I have changed three pairs of earpads (the last ones perforated and expensive, but fabulous for comfort). Great listening headphones to not faint. When I bought them, discounted by 50%, they were on offer, but their full price was still around € 130-150. They are not completely neutral. A little lacking in the deep bass and excessive in some high frequencies. You can noticeably improve with an equalizer, even software. On pc I use APO equalizer for Windows & PEACE. They have always been comfortable. For listening to movies and series, they are excellent, for music, as mentioned, they must be equalized correctly. They are born as a studio monitor, but I don't know how realistic the pro use is. In any case I feel very comfortable, they are quite comfortable both on the head and on the ears. I changed the first pavilions after about three years of very frequent use: 2-4 hours almost every day. Always the first pavilions are decently insulating, but the outside does not disappear and something comes out. They are very popular and still today they are good headphones, completely repairable, a sign of the pro address.
